Stacie Oliver, MD is a fellowship trained interventional pain medicine physician and is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine since 2015. She is in private practice at Alturas Pain & Spine Specialists in St. George, UT. She chose interventional pain medicine as a specialty because of the opportunity it gives her to develop long-lasting relationships with her patients and help them achieve a higher quality of life through the treatment of their pain.

A native of Idaho, Dr. Oliver grew up loving the outdoors. She spent many weekends and family holidays in the mountains of the West. Her father, also a physician, would take her to Africa to assist in medical mission trips as a child. There she developed a love for helping improve people’s quality of life through medicine.

Dr. Stacie Oliver is exceptionally talented. I'm 63 years old and have dealt with severe neck and spine pain most of my adult life. I have had many experiences with numerous so called pain specialists. Alturas is very professional and was able to get me in as a new patient the day my wife called. Everybody else was 2-3 weeks out. Dr. Oliver listened to me and got me in the next morning for imaging. After getting the imaging back its showed pretty much what she expected. She explained where the issue was in my lower back and her plan. She and her crew are true professionals. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Dr. Oliver and her staff were amazing! She is delightful and I could tell she really really cared about me and my situation. She saved me from getting a huge unnecessary surgery. She talked personally to another doctor in my behalf and convinced him to get me in soon. My much less intrusive surgery is scheduled in a few weeks and I feel really good about it because of her. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!
